Electric offensive on the light commercial vehicle

Groupe PSA presents a preview of the electrified versions of Peugeot Boxer Electric and Citroën Jumper Electric at the Birmingham Commercial Vehicle Show (from 30 April to 2 May).

The Peugeot Boxer Electric and Citroën Relay Electric large vans will be offered with two levels of autonomy depending on the version: 141 miles on NEDC cycle for the length L1 and L2, and 169 miles on NEDC cycle for the lengths L3 and L4. After production at the Sevel factory in Val di Sangro (Atessa, Italy), the vehicles will be electrified and homologated by the BD AUTO partner.

TNT introduces electric express delivery vehicles in Amsterdam and Rotterdam

TNT is deploying seven new 3.5 tonne electric express delivery vehicles for its operations in and around Amsterdam and Rotterdam, The Netherlands, as a partner of FREVUE (Freight Electric Vehicles in Urban Europe), an urban e-mobility project supported by the European Commission. FREVUE seeks to demonstrate to industry, consumers and policy makers how electric vehicles can meet the growing need for sustainable urban logistics.

Aras Cargo invest in Turkey’s largest electric fleet

By adding 30 new BD electric vehicles to its fleet, Aras Cargo now operates the largest fleet of full electric commercial vehicles in Turkey.

Seeking to reduce its carbon footprint, Aras Cargo first decided to include electric vehicle in its fleet in 2011. After successful completion of an initial trial with 9 vehicles, Aras Cargo now adds another 30 electric vehicles to its fleet. All vehicles are supplied by BD Auto, Europe’s leading supplier of full electric commercial vehicles.

BD Auto has expanded its network into the Benelux. With the appointment of Innimo as exclusive representative for the Benelux, BD Auto is getting a foothold in this attractive market.

Innimo is an initiative by Mr. Pieter Gabriels and Mr. Ruben van Doorn. Based on a joint belief that transportation will require substantial innovative if it is to become more sustainable, Pieter and Ruben started Innimo to actively help the Benelux market take the necessary steps.
